I am Katie. I LOVE listening to music and dancing along. Playing board games is one of my favourite hobbies. I found learning, maths in particular, really tricky and I have taken that first-hand experience and used it to try and ensure that any child I teach, doesn’t feel that way.

My lessons are focused on ensuring that the learner understands the whys and hows of what we are learning. I believe in encouraging learners to make links across their learning. By creating a trusting environment, I encourage learners to take risks and become reflective learners who have an intrinsic drive to learn how to learn.
