About Jonathan
I am a primary school teacher that aims to provide an inclusive and challenging environment for learners. The training and experiences I have gained through working in inclusive environments, such as Camp America, encourage the practices in various classroom environments to support the social and emotional needs of all students. As a recently qualified teacher, I have had the opportunity to participate in a range of courses to improve my professional development. These courses have provided me with further knowledge and understanding of pedagogical approaches that I can implement in the classroom to accommodate the needs of the learners and help develop their skill set. My experiences of playing and coaching amateur sports has allowed me to organise and lead different extracurricular activities.

I am a passionate advocate for creating an inclusive and hardworking environment for pupils. My experiences of working with people with high needs has given me the perspective to celebrate differences, encourage independence and ensure pupils feel safe and loved. This attitude to education supports students socially, emotionally and academically in order to help them succeed in my classroom and beyond. It is fundamental to my lesson planning to create rich learning environments for students to think creatively and critically.
