About Kiera
Hello, my name is Kiera and I am currently a part-time primary school teacher with over 5 years of classroom experience. I absolutely love being in the classroom, but I also really enjoy working 1-1 with children who may lack confidence or need extra support in particular areas of learning.
I believe every child should feel comfortable, encouraged and proud of their progress. While learning with me, we will get to know one another, have fun and understand that mistakes are an important part of learning and growing. I aim to create a calm and positive environment where children feel confident to ask questions, challenge themselves and celebrate their achievements.
I offer support in English, reading, writing and maths, and I tailor lessons to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with QTS and over 5 years of classroom experience teaching across KS1 and KS2. My lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to each child’s individual needs and learning style. I aim to build confidence as well as academic progress, creating a calm and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable to ask questions and challenge themselves.
I offer support in English, reading comprehension, SPaG, writing and maths, including SATs preparation and general homework support. My lessons are typically 45-60 minutes long and include clear explanations, interactive activities and regular feedback to help children make steady progress.
I particularly enjoy helping children who may lack confidence in the classroom rediscover enjoyment in learning and celebrate their achievements.
