About Harini

Hello, My name is Harini.

I am a university student who is studying Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. I am a friendly and fun person who like to have a chat and help people. I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge. I find it rewarding when children are able to grow and learn new things. I want to leave a positive impact in children’s lives and help them grow as people both educationally and as people. I am confident that i can help teach and improve students Math abilities and be a great tutor for them.

About the lesson

My lessons are for those who are from YEAR 1 to YEAR 6.

Each lesson I will go through a topic. The students have the availability to choose what they want to focus on. I will provide an expiation, go through questions with them, let them do a few questions and provide help or answer any questions. At the end of each lesson i will set homework for the child to do, and the next lesson we will go through the homework if needed. This allows me to understand where the child is struggling and provide more help and practice. Every little while i will carry out a SATs paper as homework and will go through the paper through class (this mainly applies to year 2 as well as year 5 and year 6) my lesson can range from 1 hour to 1hr 30 minutes, depending on your choice. I can also provide 2 hour lessons but that depends on my schedule outside of tutoring as I am Uni student.

Overall, my lessons will be fun, friendly and positively impactful. I will aim to work well with both the child and the parents/guardian and accumulate an effective lesson for an overall successful outcome from the lesson.
