About Andrew

Are you a Russian or Slavic-speaking professional who is tired of feeling anxious before high-stakes presentations and worried people focus on how you sound instead of what you're saying?

I'm an English Pronunciation Coach who specialises in presentation delivery coaching for Russian and Slavic professionals. I help you deliver your most important moments with confidence and authority so people focus on your message, not your accent.

I've been teaching English since 2010, and over the years I've developed a deep passion for helping non-native speakers - especially Russian and Slavic speakers - master the prosody (rhythm, pausing, stress, intonation) that makes presentations compelling. I love working on scripts because I see immediate, tangible results. When you nail your delivery, it transforms how you feel and how others perceive you.

Outside of coaching, I'm a bit of a pronunciation nerd (I'm self-taught in the IPA and obsess over how languages work), but I'm also down-to-earth and practical. My goal is to help you sound like the expert you are - not to change who you are.

I'm CELTA qualified and a Certified Pronunciation Specialist with 14 years of experience and over 3,000 hours of coaching non-native speakers.

About the lesson

My approach is student-centred and results-focused. I don't waste time drilling individual sounds for months or chasing "native speaker" pronunciation (that's unrealistic and unnecessary). Instead, I focus on what actually matters: rhythm, pausing, word stress, and intonation - the elements that make you sound confident and authoritative.

Here's how I work:

For Presentation Delivery Coaching (10-12 sessions):

--> You bring your script (already written—I don't write scripts, but I can guide you to tools like AI if you need help drafting).
--> We focus on the 3-5 minutes that matter most (your opening, key moments, and close).
--> You'll record a baseline, we'll work intensively on delivery techniques, and you'll record a final version to compare.
--> You'll leave with a polished presentation AND the toolkit to prepare future presentations independently.

For Urgent Presentation Prep (3-5 sessions, 2-4 weeks out):

--> If your presentation is coming up soon and you need intensive, focused help fast, we can work on multiple sessions per week to get you ready.

For Ongoing Pronunciation Coaching (10-12 sessions):

--> We build awareness of your pronunciation patterns and develop a self-practice toolkit.
--> You'll gain confidence and clarity, but I'm honest: major accent change takes months of daily practice on your own. I give you the foundation; you do the long-term work.

My lessons are structured, intensive, and practical. I'm a bit OCD about details (you'll get thorough, meticulous feedback), but I keep things relaxed and collaborative. You'll work harder than me in sessions - that's how real progress happens.

I'm also very familiar with Russian and Slavic pronunciation patterns, so I know exactly where you struggle and how to help you improve efficiently.
