About Emily
I am originally from Colorado, and I currently attend Penn State with a future goal to go into trauma surgery. I am a certified EMT, and I love being outdoors, traveling, and being around others. I love helping others learn and want to do everything I can to extend my knowledge to others in hopes they gain a similar love for different ideas.

I am a second-year undergraduate student at Penn State majoring in pre-medicine looking to go into healthcare. I love statistics and am planning on pursuing a minor in this field during my undergraduate as well. I am currently working as a Learning Assistant for Elementary Statistics at Penn State, and am looking to teach elementary/intro statistics, AP Statistics, and other basic high school or college statistics concepts! I like to focus lessons and teaching around what the student struggles with and like to work specifically on smaller concepts to relate them to the bigger picture and reach a full understanding. I want to ensure that concepts are not only memorized or understood but can be applied in other problems and tasks in the future.
