About Sofia

My name is Sofia Vidal and I am a pre- medical student that has got all equivalent to A* at GCSE and predicted 4A* in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Spanish at A-level.

As a student that’s had to go through covid and other obstacles myself, I feel I completely understand the difficulties many students have/are facing and have my own methods for revision and learning that I want to share!

About the lesson

I will start off by assessing your current level, we will then go through what material needs to be covered and assign a confidence score to each topic. I will then be able to plan what areas we need to focus on and plan lessons, focusing on areas you are less confident with.

I like to first explain what topic we are covering in a said lesson, while asking many questions to test your understanding, and then proceed to do exam style questions together to work through how exam boards want you answer questions in exams.

I like to make lessons fun as well as informative as I think this means my students are engaging more with the lesson and therefore the content. I have a real love for science and languages and this allows me to explain concepts in a more concise and engaging manner.
