Hello! I’m Gurmukh—a dedicated University of Waterloo Honors Mathematics student and experienced peer tutor. Over the past three years, I’ve helped dozens of undergraduates conquer challenging topics in Calculus and Linear Algebra, consistently earning top feedback for clarity and effectiveness. A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up & Review (10 min): Quick recap of previous concepts via a short diagnostic question.
New Concept Introduction (15 min): Clear, example-driven presentation of the day’s topic (e.g., convergence tests in calculus or eigenvalues in linear algebra).
Guided Practice (20 min): We work through 2–3 problems together, with you taking the lead and me providing hints only when necessary.
Independent Practice & Discussion (10 min): You attempt a problem on your own; we then review solutions, address misconceptions, and solidify techniques.
Homework Assignment: I assign 5–7 practice problems tailored to your current level, with written solutions to be reviewed at the start of the next lesson.
