About Foni
Teaching Spanish has been a rewarding journey for me over the last 18 years. During this time, I have worked with high school and college students, helping them build strong language skills through personalized instruction. I believe every learner is unique, so I design lessons that reflect individual abilities, learning preferences, and future goals. This approach keeps students motivated while encouraging continuous improvement.
My lessons focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversational Spanish. I use practical examples, interactive discussions, communication exercises, and real-world situations to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Students gain confidence by using Spanish actively rather than simply studying grammar rules.
A unique feature of my teaching is my ability to explain complex topics in a simple and organized way. I encourage students to ask questions, practice regularly, and learn through positive experiences. Regular assessments and personalized feedback allow students to recognize their progress while identifying areas that need additional practice.
I also believe that cultural awareness is an important part of language learning. My lessons include authentic expressions, traditions, celebrations, and customs from Spanish-speaking countries, helping students understand the language more naturally.

My teaching philosophy is centered on creating an encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to explore the Spanish language. Compassion helps me understand individual learning challenges, integrity ensures professional and honest teaching, and adaptability allows me to adjust every lesson to meet different needs.
I develop balanced lessons that improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing together. Interactive conversations, practical exercises, cultural discussions, and authentic materials help students connect classroom learning with real-life communication. I believe regular revision, positive reinforcement, and consistent practice are essential for long-term success.
Besides Spanish, I teach conversational Spanish, Spanish grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing skills, listening exercises, DELE examination preparation, business Spanish, travel Spanish, Hispanic culture, and communication skills. My mission is to help students achieve fluency while enjoying every stage of the learning process.
