About Hannah
I enjoy working with children and seeing their confidence grow. English is a fantastic subject and the skills used are taken with you throughout your adult life, through reading, spelling and comprehension. Watching children develop these skills and build their fluency and confidence is by far the best part of the job.
With my experience in tutoring in combination with my academic experience, I will be working towards a career in History and English in the near future.

Hi there,
I prefer to take the time to get to know the student with the first initial session, from this I piece together a plan for what I think would suit best. My sessions are highly rated and I have been incredibly popular over the COVID-19 pandemic.
My sessions are a minimum of 1 hour, up to 3 hours but adjustments can be made for SEN children. I have experience working with SEN students, totalling over 3 years, from Dyslexia, to ADHD and Autism.
I also have plenty of experience working with children from ages 7-18, from SATs, GCSE and entry exam level, covering history, literature, language, writing skills, comprehension, philosophy, spelling and exam techniques. I also have experience working in Nursery and Primary schools, so I am completely flexible in age groups.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, specialising in New Historicism, Spanish and German, and I am currently studying English Literature and History at Master's level at the University of London.
Overall i have over 3, nearly 4 years of tutoring experience, tutoring nearly 20 different students long term.
