When I studied math in primary school I hated it. Not because it was hard, no I was actually really good , nut rather because the teachers never told us why we use it. The first quarter I learned how all the algebra formulas relate, why we say x squares, and was given the reasons for using every single step. This made me so excited and fell in love with math because I finally had a reason. I hate when professors don't get you a why.
