About NICOLE
Hello, my name is Nicole and I am currently a Master student at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in American Sociology. Of Italian and Cuban origin, I have always had a particular interest in the discovery of new cultures. Driven by an early passion for traveling and new experiences, after high school in Italy, I decided to move to Paris to master French and improve my English by registering as a student in English and Knowledge of the East. In order to contribute actively to pay the expenses and to gain more independence, I worked for a few months as a babysitter, helping the children to learn English, then I was hired at Disneyland Paris, an experience that allowed me to practice my knowledge of foreign languages, whether English, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese. I have already given French courses to Italian students and Italian courses to French students (8-17 years), so I am very used to this type of work. Nevertheless, I would have no problem teaching adults.

Depending on the knowledge of the Italian language that the person has, I usually decide to focus more on the grammatical and linguistic aspects or on the development of oral expression. In both cases, I believe in the essential importance of acquiring an extended vocabulary that gives richness to the language, whether written or oral. I usually structure my lessons into three blocks: grammar, speaking ability and vocabulary. I strongly encourage students to dive deep into the Italian world, by simply watching Italian films, listening to Italian music or reading Italian novels or poems.
