About Bethan
I’m Bethan and I’m currently studying a degree in PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) which I absolutely love!
In my spare time I play the piano and the flute, both of which I have offered private tuition in for the past 3 years and currently have 4 students. I have began academic tuition this year and it is something I am truly passionate about, specialising English language and literature up to and at GCSE level, with extensive knowledge across many of the exams boards.

I have always loved learning, however, as a younger student, I found that the work I produced within lessons and exams didn’t always reflect my ideas and enthusiasm within the classroom. Through studying for my GCSEs and A Levels I have been able to adapt and refine the methods which I use to learn, revise and achieve my desired grades.
I have tried and tested many study techniques and my goal as a tutor is not only to help my students learn and build on their academic knowledge, but to help them in finding the best way for them to study. In doing so, I aim to help my students grow their confidence both in the classroom and in an exam setting. I strongly believe that everyone deserves the chance to reach their academic potential and I hope to be able to help students with this through my lessons.
As a university student, it has not been long since I have sat school exams myself! I feel I have the knowledge and expertise to help you to secure the top marks possible in your GCSEs, 11 Plus, SATs and internal examinations!
