About Cosima
I am a first-year Politics and International Relations BSc undergraduate at University College London who took Politics, Economics and Geography at A-Level.
During my time in highschool I tutored multiple GCSE pupils in and out of school, was on a national advisory board for internet safety through which I worked with UK and foreign governments, as well as becoming a nationally decorated debater in the ESU School's Mace through which I massively developed my essay writing skills!
I am passionate about building up pupils rather than belittling them into cramming and stressing and strive to build positive relationships with education that will make my tutees strive to achieve their goals as opposed to endlessly stressing over them.

Having tutored to both drastically grow and refine knowledge in the past, I am adept in adapting to the individual students' needs. I focus on building foundational conceptual knowledge and then applying this to exam style questions to prepare my students for any eventuality within an exam context.
I aim to create an adaptable but focused structure to achieve each student's desired grade, working alongside their school work to optimise our time as well as theirs to maintain school-life balance needed to perform well in the summer.
Whilst I personally did not struggle to achieve academically in the end, I spent a great deal of time trialing new techniques and resources to attain my final grades of A*A*A* at A-Level and will leverage all of this to help you / your child!
