About Sarmad
Hello, and thank you for considering me as your guide on this learning journey. My name is Sarmad Masood, and I am an academic with a deep-rooted passion for the social sciences. I hold an MPhil in Pakistan Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from IIUI. Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of teaching at the university level, where I discovered that my true calling lies not just in delivering knowledge, but in watching young minds ignite with curiosity. Beyond the classroom, I am an ardent book reader, a researcher at heart—someone who finds immense joy in uncovering the stories, patterns, and truths that shape our world, the complexities of international relations, or the rich tapestry of South Asian culture.

My approach to online tutoring is built on the belief that education should be an active dialogue, not a passive lecture. Drawing on four years of university teaching experience and my BS in Political Science and an MPhil in Pakistan Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, I design each session to be highly interactive and student-centered. Using digital tools like shared whiteboards, real-time document annotation, and breakout discussions, I guide students beyond rote memorization toward genuine analytical thinking. Whether we are dissecting geopolitical shifts in International Relations, exploring the nuances of South Asian history, or refining a research thesis, I emphasize argument-building and evidence-based reasoning. My lessons typically run for 60 to 90 minutes, allowing ample time for deep exploration while maintaining focus and engagement through regular feedback and comprehension checks.
