About Paola

Hi! I'm Paola, a native Italian speaker currently living in Dublin. I have always been passionate about languages and communication, and I love meeting people from different cultures.

Living abroad has given me the opportunity to experience what it's like to learn and use a foreign language every day. Because of this, I understand the challenges that students face, and I know how important it is to feel comfortable and supported while learning.

I am a patient, friendly and approachable person who enjoys helping others achieve their goals. I believe that learning works best when students feel relaxed and confident, so I aim to create a positive environment based on trust, encouragement and mutual respect.

Whether you're learning Italian for travel, work, study or personal interest, I would be delighted to help you gain confidence and enjoy the journey of learning a beautiful language.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's level, learning style and personal goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of Italian, I will adapt the pace and content to help you progress with confidence.

Having learned foreign languages myself and lived abroad, I understand how exciting, but sometimes intimidating, it can be to speak a new language. I know that making mistakes is an essential part of the learning process, and I encourage my students to see every mistake as an opportunity to improve rather than something to be afraid of.

I believe that the best way to learn a language is by using it. That's why my lessons combine conversation, vocabulary, grammar and practical exercises in a relaxed and supportive environment. I encourage students to speak as much as possible from the very beginning, using real-life situations to make learning natural, engaging and enjoyable.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Depending on your goals, lessons can focus on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, writing, exam preparation, or Italian for travel and everyday communication.

As a native Italian speaker, I offer lessons in both English and Italian, making it easier for beginners to build confidence while allowing more advanced students to immerse themselves in the language.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults of all levels. Whether you're learning Italian for school, work, travel, or simply because you love the language and culture, I'll be happy to support you on your journey.
