About Kyle

I have been playing piano for around 10 years and have developed a strong passion for both performing and understanding music. My main background is in classical piano, but I also play jazz and modern/pop styles. Over the years, I have also studied music theory, which has helped me understand music on a deeper level and improve my playing.

I enjoy teaching because I like helping people understand how music works and watching students improve over time. I am patient, supportive, and I try to make lessons comfortable and enjoyable while still helping students progress and build good playing habits.

I work well with beginners and intermediate students, as well as adults who want to start piano later or return to piano after a break. My goal is to help students become confident, independent musicians who enjoy playing the piano.

About the lesson

I offer lessons in both piano performance and music theory. My goal is not only to teach students how to play pieces, but also to help them understand the music they are playing.

In lessons, we work on technique, note reading, rhythm, musical expression, and overall confidence at the piano. I also teach music theory, including scales, chords, harmony, and how to read and understand music properly.

I teach classical, jazz, and modern/pop styles, and lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, whether they are learning for fun, exams, or personal improvement.

I aim to create lessons that are structured, enjoyable, and rewarding, and to help students become confident and independent musicians over time.
