About Jane
I am a Bachelor of Music-Vocal Performance major at Binghamton University. I have studied piano for 15 years and voice for 9. I have performed in over 5 different select choirs and in multiple small groups at community events. I am currently in the studios of Dr. Maddie Harts (Musical Theatre) and Dr. Brenda Iglesias (Opera). I have been part of multiple intensives and workshops in NYC.
I perform in soprano, mezzo-soprano, and alto range with an emphasis on proper technique and using vocal technique to properly emphasize the emotions of the scene. While playing the piano, I work on not only playing the music but also using the variety of the instrument to provoke the emotion it can create.

Hello! I am Jane Leifer- a current Bachelor of Music student with a focus in vocal performance. I also have 14 years of piano experience and love playing every chance I get! My teaching focuses are in musical theatre performance, pop-singing, beginning and intermediate piano, and overall music-reading and theory lessons.
My ideal student is someone who is excited to learn more about music, open-minded, and has some ideas of what they want to learn! I teach beginning and intermediate musicians. I love working on music my students want to learn with them.
