About LALIT

Hello, I’m Lalit Saini, a Physics tutor and high-school Physics teacher in New Hampshire, with an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. I have taught and mentored students at both high-school and college levels, including leading undergraduate labs in mechanics, electricity & magnetism, optics, waves, and modern physics. My academic background in materials science, laser-based experiments, and nanotechnology lets me connect classroom physics to real-world applications that spark curiosity. Students appreciate my ability to explain complex concepts clearly using visuals, relatable examples, and practical problem-solving techniques. I’m patient, reliable, and highly organized, tailoring lessons to each learner’s goals—whether preparing for AP/IB Physics, mastering fundamentals, or excelling in college-level physics. Currently teaching full-time in high school helps me stay closely aligned with modern curricula, testing standards, and the challenges students face. My goal is to help every student build confidence, improve grades, and develop a genuine interest in how physics shapes the world around them.

About the lesson

I focus on building strong conceptual understanding first, then reinforcing it with visual explanations, guided examples, and structured problem-solving practice. My style is interactive: I ask guiding questions to identify gaps in knowledge and help students develop confidence step-by-step.

Teaching approach:

Use sketches, graphs, and quick demos or simulations to make abstract ideas concrete.

Break word problems into a clear process: identify knowns/unknowns, select equations, and check results.

Provide immediate feedback and strategies for avoiding common mistakes.

5 min: Review or quick quiz on prior topic

15 min: Concept overview with visuals and analogies

15 min: Guided example problems

15 min: Student practice with support

5 min: Recap and short homework suggestion
