About Luis
Besides my years of tutoring experience, I also spent a lot of time helping to tutor my friends. I understand sometimes problems can be very challenging, especially when concepts do not click. But I believe that with patience and dedication, anyone can solve difficult problems.
I have a PhD in physics which means I have spent most of my life solving difficult problems and learning how to approach them and I would like to have the opportunity to share that knowledge with you.

One of the core skills you learn studying physics is learning how to learn and how to approach problems. I try to make problems as approachable as possible with my explanations and if that does not work then I try to tackle it from a different angle that might be easier to understand for the individual student.
With physics and math the key is to break the question down and approach things one step at a time. What is the information you are given? What is important and what isn't? Do you understand what all the variables mean and the equation you are using? My lesson plans are not just about solving the problem at hand but in gaining a general understanding on how to approach problems in the first place.
I am available to tutor at the middle school, high school, and undergraduate level in both physics and math.
