About Adrian

I am a highly skilled academic tutor, extensively published in my research area (quantum games). I have taught classes and tutored students in mathematics and physics for over twenty years. I am also a competitive chess player and was the champion of Tasmania several times.

About the lesson

I like to guide students through the problem-solving process, making sure they understand all the concepts along the way. I am patient and creative at finding ways of explaining difficult ideas and calculations. I equally enjoy helping struggling students and those who want to be extended. The courses I helped students with include Quantum Physics, Statistical Mechanics, Graph Theory, Multivariable Calculus, and Complex Analysis. I can also help in physics-related areas such as sonography and medical imaging.

I worked as a tutor, lab demonstrator, and lecturer in the Dept. of Physics and Mathematical Physics, at University of Adelaide and as a one-to-one tutor. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Melbourne in 2005-2008 and more recently worked as a non-residential tutor at Trinity College (UniMelb). I also work as a chess coach in high school.

Perfect! my daughter is very happy with Adrian, he listens well and helps my daughter with what ever topic she is struggling with that week. Adrian then walks her through working out the problem. Highly recommend Adrian.
