About Sian-marie

Hi, I’m Siân, a degree-qualified photographer and creative with an Upper Second-Class Honours degree in Photography and Moving Image.

Throughout my degree, I developed a strong understanding of photography, moving image and the creative processes behind producing professional visual work. My studies also introduced me to marketing methods, SEO and social media, giving me an understanding of how photography and visual content can be used to communicate with and reach an audience.

I’m confident using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and other editing software, and I enjoy both the creative and technical sides of photography. I’m naturally creative, love developing new ideas and consider myself a good problem solver when it comes to creative projects.

My own photographic work has been featured in exhibitions across the country, giving me experience of developing work from an initial idea through to creating and presenting a finished body of work.

I’m passionate about photography and genuinely enjoy helping other people develop their creativity. Whether you’re completely new to photography, studying for GCSE/A-Level or university, building a portfolio, or simply wanting to improve your skills, I’d love to help you build confidence, develop your ideas and get more out of your photography.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to you and what you want to achieve.

I have a degree in Photography and Moving Image and a strong background in creative photography, image editing and visual storytelling. My own photographic work has been featured in exhibitions across the country, and I have experience working with a range of creative and editing software.

I believe photography should be creative, enjoyable and tailored to the individual. Everyone learns differently, so lessons will be adapted to your experience, goals and the type of photography you’re interested in.

Whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time or you’re already creating work and want honest, constructive feedback, I’ll help you understand why something works rather than simply telling you what to do.
