About Morgan
Hi! I'm Morgan, a First-Class Biochemistry graduate and incoming PhD researcher at the University of Surrey.
Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of a wide range of biological and biochemical subjects, including molecular and cell biology, genetics, immunology, microbiology, biochemistry and cancer biology. My research experience has also helped me develop skills in experimental design, data analysis and scientific communication.
I recently completed my undergraduate degree with First-Class Honours and received the Royal Society of Biology Advanced Accreditation Top Project Award for my final-year research project. I am now beginning a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, where I will continue developing my research expertise.
Having recently completed my own studies, I understand how challenging GCSEs, A-Levels and university can sometimes feel. I know that everyone learns differently, and I believe science becomes much more enjoyable when you genuinely understand the concepts rather than simply trying to memorise large amounts of information.
I am friendly, approachable and passionate about helping students build both their understanding and confidence. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an important exam or aiming for the highest grades possible, I'd love to help you achieve your goals!

My lessons are tailored to each individual student, their current level of understanding and their academic goals. Whether you are looking to improve your confidence, strengthen your understanding of difficult topics or prepare for upcoming exams, I will adapt our sessions to suit your needs.
For GCSE and A-Level students, lessons will be aligned with your exam board specification and will focus on both developing a strong understanding of the subject and improving exam technique. We can work through challenging topics step-by-step, identify common misconceptions and practise applying your knowledge to exam-style questions.
My sessions are interactive and encourage students to actively engage with the material rather than simply memorising information. I use a combination of explanations, diagrams, worked examples, discussion and practice questions to help students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
For A-Level Biology and Chemistry, I can also provide support with required practicals, data analysis, mathematical skills and interpreting unfamiliar questions — areas that often cause students to lose valuable marks.
For undergraduate Bioscience and Biochemistry students, I can offer support with understanding complex concepts, interpreting scientific literature, experimental design, data analysis and developing scientific writing skills.
My aim is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Every lesson will be adapted to your individual needs, and we can work together to create a clear plan towards your academic goals.
