About Gilad
Hello, my name is Gilad Gani, and I’m a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCLA. I bring several years of experience as a teaching assistant across a range of courses, including general and physical chemistry, as well as laboratory instruction. Prior to my time at UCLA, I also served as a TA for an analytical chemistry course at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. My goal is to help students build confidence in their understanding of chemistry by creating a clear, respectful, and engaging learning environment. I’m committed to being approachable, well-prepared, and responsive to your questions. Looking forward to a productive and rewarding learning experience together.

My teaching philosophy is to instill fundamental knowledge for students, all while trying to make complicated topics as clear and simple as possible. A typical lesson plan will consist of a review of the topic, and several example questions that demonstrate different aspects of the topic. The last part is usually dedicated to questions that the student finds hard to answer.
