About Andrea
I am first year PhD student in translational biomedicine at King's College London. What most stands out from me is my passion for biology and my optimism. I would love to share my knowledge with students. Moreover, I am willing to help my students plan their future and consider different career options! Five years ago I was lost and had no idea what, where nor when I wanted to study. However, I will always thank a personal tutor I had who studied at UCL for helping me clarify what I wanted to do with my life! I would now also like to help/inspire other students :)
If you feel more confortable speaking Spanish, Swedish or French than English, please do not hesitate to tell me, I will gladly switch language!

During high school I coursed both the International Baccalaureate AND the Spanish Baccalaureate. My academic record allowed me to study my undergraduate programme at Imperial College London, ranked number 7 in the world. My passion for biology has ultimately led me to King's College London where I am carrying out my PhD in Translational Biomedicine.
My diverse educational background has allowed me to adapt really quickly and gain a deep understanding of different teaching methods. This really plays in my favour when teaching as I am able to recognise different ways of learning and quickly adjust my teaching style.
I have experience tutoring students in Maths, Spanish and Biology both in Madrid and London. I can speak fluent Spanish, English, Swedish and have a high French level. Therefore, I am willing to teach biology in any of these languages. If you are stressed preparing for A levels, GSCEs or IB exams, please hit me up and I will convince you that biology is FUN!
