About Pedro
I always try, through dialogue with the student, not only to learn about their reality in life, but also to try to transport and mediate the greatest possible amount of knowledge for the same. In my classes, I like to interact with the student in an almost 'casual' way, with the aim of making the student feel as comfortable as possible so that he asks all and as many doubts as he has, without any kind of hesitation or fear. We can also combine different assessment methods (if the student is interested) and also set goals and deadlines to be met, always with a focus on student learning.
My work methodology is supported by two main thinkers: Paulo Freire and Lev Vygotsky (teacher is not the maximum holder of knowledge, for the first, and education is a socio-constructivist process, for the second). In other words, I do not believe in the methodology 'teacher speaks, student listens' or that everyone has the same perceptions of life. Thus, the learning process develops more naturally and without so many obstacles.

I am a doctoral student in physics at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), where I develop research related to the phenomenon of light scattering and the light-matter interaction. I have an undergraduate and master's degree from the same university, where my undergraduate degree was focused on. During 2 years of graduation, I also had access to the experience of acting as a monitor and substitute teacher, working in one of the most prestigious schools in the city (Colégio São Carlos).
