About Ariel S

I enrolled in the Degree in Mathematics a bit by chance, without knowing what was waiting for me, coming from a classical high school.
Over the years I developed, not without a good dose of ups and downs, the interest and curiosity towards Mathematics that led me to attempt a career in the world of research.

However, I can say that I know firsthand what difficulties can be in the study of mathematics, and I would therefore like to help others to transform frustration into satisfaction.
In my lessons I try to convey my passion for Mathematics, the interest and curiosity that I believe are the basis of a successful study.

About the lesson

I propose interactive MATHEMATICS and PHYSICS lessons at all levels with personalized method and objectives.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics, with particular interest in applications, mathematical physics and interdisciplinarity.
In recent years I have had the opportunity to deepen different aspects of mathematics from multiple points of view and in my lessons I present the contents in multiple ways to allow the student to have a more complete view of the topics covered.
EXAM SUPPORT for courses in mathematics, physics and related disciplines including: Analysis (1,2, ..., n), Linear Algebra (vector spaces, matrix calculus), Geometry (curves, surfaces, manifolds), Numerical Calculus (algorithms and programming, I know languages Python, MATLAB, Fortran, C ++), Probability, Statistics, Mathematical Physics (PDE, dynamic systems), Rational Mechanics, Physics (mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, statistical physics).

INDIVIDUAL LESSONS for clarifications, insights, strengthening, personal development with short and long term objectives.

ASSISTANCE in carrying out EXERCISES of disciplines related to those listed

Support in WRITING TEXTS in Italian or English for projects, reports, exams, term papers and theses, including layout with LaTeX. REVIEW and correction of texts in Italian and English in disciplines related to my field of study.

If necessary or useful, PERSONALIZED TEACHING MATERIALS will be provided, such as handouts or exercises. During the two years of the Master's Degree I did tutoring for the Numerical Calculus course: you can find, by way of example, part of the material prepared for students in the dedicated section of my personal website.
The online lessons will be carried out with the aid of tablets and screen sharing to display the contents in an interactive way.

Over the years I have assisted students of different levels, especially university students, who I have helped to understand the course material more quickly and effectively, obtaining good results in the related exams.
Each lesson will be tailored to the needs of the student, with the aim of clarifying doubts, clarifying the contents exposed and giving the tools to study the best results with profit.
My idea is to guide the student through examples and heuristic explanations, towards an autonomous understanding of the topics covered; so that he not only knows how to complete an exercise, but has the tools to adapt his knowledge in different contexts, and is more self-confident (in my experience, being able to be convinced of succeeding is a step to succeed ... )

Ho contattato inizialmente Ariel per un aiuto su dei concetti pratici e dopo teorici di calcolo numerico, che dire è un ricercatore con tanta esperienza dietro, le sue spiegazioni dei teoremi sono più che capibili, se vi serve un aiuto di qualsiasi livello in matematica difficilmente troverete qualcuno allo stesso livello di Ariel

Perfect! Ho avuto il piacere di contattare Ariel per ricevere ripetizioni sulle equazioni differenziali alle derivate parziali (PDE), in particolare sulle applicazioni degli elementi finiti bidimensionali. Gli ho proposto un problema complesso, l'equazione di Fisher-Kolmogorov, e con grande competenza nel campo, è stato in grado di aiutarmi sia dal punto di vista teorico che implementativo utilizzando MATLAB.

Ariel si è dimostrato un tutor estremamente preparato, in grado di rispondere a domande inaspettate e di spiegare in modo chiaro e paziente quando non riuscivo a comprendere determinati concetti. Ha mostrato una grande padronanza della materia e ha saputo fornirmi un supporto completo sia nella comprensione teorica dell'argomento che nell'implementazione pratica attraverso MATLAB.

Oltre alla sua competenza tecnica, ho trovato Ariel una persona simpatica e cordiale. È riuscito a creare un'atmosfera piacevole durante le lezioni, senza appesantire l'ambiente con una sensazione di pressione. Le ore di ripetizioni sono letteralmente volate, grazie alla sua capacità di spiegare in modo efficace e coinvolgente.

In conclusione, la mia esperienza con Ariel come tutor per le ripetizioni sulle PDE e gli elementi finiti bidimensionali è stata estremamente positiva. La sua preparazione, pazienza, capacità di spiegazione e atteggiamento amichevole hanno reso le lezioni produttive e piacevoli.
