About Isabella

I like to say i'm a "full-time nerd" :-) I am currently completing a PhD in identity theory and how it can contribute to vulnerabilities to radicalisation. When I'm not chipping away at that I work at Curtin as a sessional academic, a debating coach and operate within the CVE space in Perth.

About the lesson

Teaching methodology is tailored to individual needs, the most effective approach is if you provide me with some graded work that I can assess to identify the areas that need a bit of help! I am very bubbly and easy going, I like to build rapport and get to know a student for the first part of the session before identifying what parts they aren't confident with and what they'd like help with. From there we mutually decide upon a plan to move forward with that they're comfortable with.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Psychology double major from UWA
Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Murdoch (HD)
Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology from Curtin (HD)
Master of Counterterrorism and Security Studies from CSU (HD)
Currently completing a PhD in identity theory and extremism.

Tutoring experience:
Sessional Academic at Curtin teaching in International Relations and History Majors.
Debate coaching.

Happy to do proof reading and editing with suggestions/comments in line with marking rubric.

I have a valid Working with Children Check that I am happy to provide.

If travel is within 15minutes radius I am happy to travel for free depending on frequency and scheduling limitations.

Travel over 15minutes from radius will incur an additional cost of $10 to help cover fuel.
