About Pearly
Dr Poon is a PhD-qualified Music Teacher, professional singer and pianist with extensive international and UK teaching experience. She holds a PhD in Music Education and has successfully taught singing, piano and GCSE Music across schools, academies and private settings. Dr Poon specialises in vocal coaching, instrumental tuition and exam preparation, with a strong track record of students achieving excellent results in ABRSM exams, school assessments and public performances. Her teaching is highly personalised, combining strong technical foundations with creativity, motivation and enjoyment. Dr Poon is passionate about nurturing confidence, musical excellence and a lifelong love of music in every student.

With a PhD in Music Education and years of successful teaching experience, I offer expert singing, piano, and GCSE Music lessons that help students achieve excellent results and lasting confidence. I teach students from beginner to advanced level, supporting ABRSM singing and piano examinations, GCSE Music coursework and listening skills, and performance preparation for concerts and competitions. Lessons are carefully tailored to each student’s learning style, combining strong technical foundations with musical enjoyment.
