About Alessia

Singer, pedagogue, PhD in Musicology at the Sorbonne University, researcher recognized internationally as a specialist in the dynamics of learning singing, author of many texts on the study of singing published in 3 languages, international speaker, accepts a few students in Paris for individual lessons.

About the lesson

I have been studied singing with Montserrat FIGUERAS, Sophie BOULIN (and many others), my repertoire space from medieval to contemporary music. Over time, I developed a synthesis between my experiences as an artist and researcher (PhD), so I developed my approach and my own method for teaching singing. Indeed, wanting to improve the quality of life, my goal has always been to shorten the distance between scientific research and its application. This is why I wanted to carry out a transdisciplinary training allowing me to apply and adapt the results of the most modern scientific researches (in neurosciences, clinical / cognitive / developmental psychology, epistemology, etc.), in the form of concrete exercises that I create to meet the specific needs of each student (taking into account his learning style, his age, his level, ...). As a specialist in learning modalities, I also accompany artists by working on the management of emotions and the optimization of their study methods.
Having taught singing in a hospital, it is possible to consider not only artistic but also therapeutic work. Important note: I am not a Doctor in Phoniatrics, I am a Doctor in Psychology and Pedagogy of Music, qualified as Assistant Professor in Sciences of Education and Music-Musicology.
