About Belén
I am a Doctor in Medical Chemistry from the University of Alcalá, where I previously completed a Degree in Health Biology or Biomedicine and a Master in Therapeutic Targets. I did my doctoral thesis at the CSIC and now I work at the University of London (UCL) in a research group based on Structural Biology. In my current job, in addition to teaching Biochemistry and Structural Biology classes, I lead two Master's students in Biochemistry with which I work continuously in the laboratory. Throughout my academic stage, I have felt very attached to science teaching, which has made me explore my skills and prepare professionally through teaching classes since I started university. In addition, English as the main scientific language is the basis for a complete scientific learning, so my experience and experience in London makes it possible for me to teach classes in a bilingual way in both languages as the student requires or is interested.

The methodology on which I base my classes depends mainly on the student, the specific subject, the language in which they want to learn and the level to which they are directed. I would base my main method on motivating towards the subject first, and structuring the syllabus with real, daily examples, in which I work daily that make us have a very different perspective of the science we know.
