About Riddhidev
To me, a good professor or teacher is someone who can combine
learning with a slice of life, who can bring both idealism and practicality to the table. A proper balance between theory and practical
I was trained in Organic Chemistry by my grandfather from the young age of 14. Sounds like an anime protagonist, right? He started with Basic college level Organic Chemistry because he thought I could take it. How I hated him then!
But I could take it. Which led to me finishing my PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Toledo, Ohio.
So here I am, a typical backbencher who suddenly got inspired to become an organic/ medicinal chemist. I aim to recreate that spark in several potential future scientists, so that they may leave their mark wherever
they go.
I only desire one thing from you. That you go from "Oh no why is this question so tough?" to "How can I make that?" The day you do, I will rest easy.
Let's have some fun!

In order for the two essential quirks of humanity to function at full potential, teachers and professors are required in order to create an each-one-teach-one cascade that can finally succeed in propagating the desired knowledge among generations. This begs for expertise in one task.
Translation.
This simple word has an entirely different meaning when it comes to the imparting of knowledge. For when someone writes a text book or creates a lecture, he/ she applies his knowledge, terminology and solutions in a manner that may not be accessible or understandable to everyone. A good professor/ teacher will easily pick up on this and make all the necessary
information easily ‘digestible’ to his audience. The ability to make palatable information such that the average audience can easily recall the teachings after a long timer constitutes effective learning to myself. And I serve to be one such individual.
What would my teaching style be like? A dash of theatrics, coupled with internet culture, a ton of humor and all the scientific terminology, translated to everyday relatable topics. Today’s generation needs modern methods combined with traditional ways to make them understand. It’s particularly important to me because I used to be a typical backbencher disinterested in studies that suddenly got inspired to become an organic/ medicinal chemist. What gave rise to that spark? I
aim to recreate that in several potential future scientists, so that they may leave their mark wherever
they go.
