About Matheus
My teaching method initially consists of assessing the primary needs of the student before mobilising more elaborate contents and practical exercises. Minor slips should be corrected through raising awareness about them - a process in which the teacher is merely an inducer -, and the autonomous reworking of texts. Thus, it is a matter of supporting the student through the rewriting processes. I also approach the teaching of literature and text interpretation in the same way: the spontaneous awareness of details through a dialogical process, that accrues to the constitution of a meaningful "whole".

PhD in Literary Theory by the University of Coimbra and the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). As a post-doc fellow researcher and professor at the State University of Campinas, taught undergraduate Literature courses.
