About Nivetha
Hello! I am Nivetha, a PhD researcher in Environmental Science at the University of New England, Australia, with a strong passion for teaching and inspiring young learners. I hold a First-Class Honors degree in Botany and have teaching experience in both Sri Lanka and Australia as a Teaching Assistant and university demonstrator.
My academic journey and teaching experience have helped me develop the skills to explain concepts clearly, patiently, and in ways that are easy for children to understand. I believe every student learns differently, and I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
I have worked closely with students in classroom and practical learning settings, providing individual guidance and helping them strengthen their understanding step by step. My background in science education and research allows me to introduce learning in an engaging and meaningful way, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking from an early age.
As a tutor, I am reliable, well-prepared, and committed to maintaining a professional and positive learning experience. My goal is not only to support academic improvement but also to help students develop confidence, independence, and a genuine interest in learning.
