About Azin

Hey! I am a PhD in Physics at University of Montreal. I have experience in teaching both Physics/Math and English as a second language. I myself find it hard to follow when teachers explain physics concepts at length without engaging the students. Therefore my goal and passion is to teach physics and math through asking a series of questions and to let the student get to the point on their own. Not too dissimilar from Greek philosophers' methodologies! Of course the questions are designed in a way that facilitates the process of comprehension and hopefully you will never forget that concept ever again!

About the lesson

After having a short chat with learners I try to identify their needs and tailor a lesson plan specifically for them. But the common feature of all lesson plans is that they are discussion based. For example if the student wants to tackle a difficult problem in classical mechanics, I first try to cover the fundamentals required for solving that problem (not in a lengthy boring way!) and then we will dissect the problem into smaller pieces to make it easier to solve. My goal is to guide you to get to the correct final answer by giving you similar simpler questions designed to teach you the desired concept in physics. I would love to help high school and undergraduate students.

Perfect! Definitely the best!

My son (17 yo) being hard to tutor, she still was able to “extract” excellent results from him.

I’m impressed with her leadership, her professionalism, and her ability to manage him, and make sure that within 10 days, he aces his final exam.

I have a bachelor degree in maths, but couldn’t coach him because I didn’t use it for YEARS. But I was listening to her while teaching; her teaching didactic is excellent. She had my son looking for the answers by himself, while guiding him step by step, and having him acing his exercises systematically by himself. She’s highly competent.

I was SOOO lucky to have found her.
With no hesitation, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her.

I took Physics classes with Azin and I must say she is absolutely amazing! I didn't have a very strong background in math and this used to hold me back in physics too. So in every session, Azin taught me Quantum Mechanics alongside a bit of math/algebra. It was a wonderful experience and I loved learning from her. She is very patient and knows her field of study very well. I highly recommend her! You will fall in love with physics when she is your teacher.
