About Sam
I am a PhD candidate (viva expected in October 2025) in Creative Writing and Social Studies at the University of Leeds. I specialize in memoir, autobiographical, and feminist writing. My poetry and creative nonfiction have been published in Greek magazines and abroad, and I am currently in the process of publishing my first poetry collection in collaboration with a Greek publishing house. My first academic chapter on writing and Fan Studies will be published by Bloomsbury this autumn.

My teaching of writing is always grounded on reading and deep engagement with various texts. I also offer writing exercises and work together with my students on the writing they produce in order to improve the flow of language and help them get used to the writing process. I have worked as an online Creative Writing tutor for a year, receiving enthusiastic feedback from my tutors. I prefer to teach adults.
