Fernando, a native Spanish speaker, tutored my son over 18 months for his AS level Spanish exam and helped him do very well. He finds students' strengths and then works from there to overcome their weaknesses. He is very encouraging and supportive as a tutor. He has a very clear, simple, and concise teaching manner and system, which my son appreciated. He marked homework before the lesson so he could work on areas that needed attention with no delays. He was also flexible when we had to change lesson times due to unexpected circumstances or sporting disruptions. Fernando has a great rapport with his students, and I recommend him very highly.

I highly value Fernando’s teaching and motivational skills. I’ve known Fernando since I started taking Spanish lessons at my local college. The lessons were class room style but were quickly interrupted by COVID and school closures. I have been an Online student ever since. I am learning Spanish in my 60’s purely for enjoyment and conversation whilst a I spend a few months each year in Spain. I am not the quickest student, however Fernando adapts to my pace and tailors his teaching to what I really want/ need.

In a word, Fernando is ‘superb’.
