About Maya
I am Maya, a dedicated educator with a strong academic and research background in life sciences. My experience in both teaching and research allows me to guide students with clarity, structure, and purpose. I value professionalism, consistency, and a supportive learning environment in every class I take.
I believe that trust between a teacher and student is essential for effective learning. I take time to understand each student’s needs, learning pace, and interests, and I maintain a respectful and encouraging approach throughout the learning process.
I am particularly committed to nurturing curiosity and disciplined learning habits in young students, as I believe early guidance plays a key role in shaping confident and independent thinkers. At the same time, I support college students and research aspirants with structured explanations and concept clarity.
I approach teaching with patience, responsibility, and genuine interest in my students’ progress, ensuring that learning is both meaningful and motivating.

I am Maya, and my teaching approach is flexible, student-centred, and discussion driven. Every class begins with a deep interaction with the student to understand their learning style, interests, and level of understanding. Based on this, the teaching method and depth of learning are designed individually.
My major focus is on young children. I strongly believe that introducing the importance of studies, curiosity, and basic research thinking at an early age can shape confident and thoughtful learners. I am into teaching because I want to root strong learning habits early, when children start becoming serious about education, especially among Gen Z students. Early exposure to curiosity and research-oriented thinking can make learning meaningful rather than stressful.
There is no fixed structure for my classes. The pace and style vary depending on the student’s pattern of learning. I focus on strong conceptual clarity, real-life examples, discussion, and gradual skill development.
My classes are intended mainly for school children, and also for college students and research aspirants who seek clarity, confidence, and depth in learning.
