Alistair is an incredibly capable teacher, who is able to readily adapt his style according to the needs of the student. His unique approach and thorough manner mean that he accomplishes the goals of the lesson, whilst maintaining a fun and collaborative teaching environment. Alistair is particularly adept at taking complex concepts and explaining them in a clear and memorable way. I would highly recommend Alistair as a tutor, particularly for scientific subjects, in which he has very strong experience.

I have worked alongside Alistair for the last 5 years and can honestly say he is a great teacher. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable but he is fantastic at explaining difficult concepts to students. He forms a great relationship with his students and you can tell that they immediately feel comfortable asking any questions they have. He is patient and helps to build confidence, especially in the build up to exams. Finally he is incredibly passionate both about biology and chemistry but also about teaching in general! Couldn't recommend enough.
