About Amalya
I am a patient Mathematics tutor and a postgraduate researcher (PhD student) in Probability Theory and Statistical Mathematics, with 7 years of teaching experience. I enjoy working with children and helping them feel confident in mathematics.
My approach is based on identifying the root cause of each student’s difficulties. I carefully analyze where and why a student is struggling, and then create an individualized learning plan tailored to their specific needs and level.
I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step understanding, and building strong foundations rather than memorization. Each lesson is adapted to the student, ensuring steady progress and improved confidence.

What sets me apart is my ability to make complex topics simple and accessible, my patience with different types of learners, and my focus on building confidence in mathematics. I also pay attention to developing logical thinking skills, not just improving grades.
My lessons are designed for students in Grades 5–12 who need support in school mathematics, want to improve their performance, prepare for exams, or strengthen their foundational skills.
