About Iqbal

Hello! I am a passionate and patient math tutor dedicated to making learning intuitive, structured, and pressure-free. My primary aim is to help students overcome their fear of math by building their self-belief. When a student feels confident, they naturally begin to enjoy the subject and able to turn frustrating roadblocks into rewarding breakthroughs.

My teaching journey began at age 18, right after completing my SPM national examinations. Since then, I have consistently taught part-time while completing my university degree and managing other professional commitments, officially stepping into full-time teaching in 2024.

To stay at the forefront of curriculum standards, I participated in an official Cambridge marking workshop in 2025 for IGCSE Mathematics (0580, Papers 2 and 4). This insider perspective allows me to guide students precisely on mark schemes, exam techniques, and common examiner expectations.

About the lesson

My lessons follow a structured scaffolding method "I Do, We Do, You Do" approach. We start with me modeling the steps, transition into working through problems together, and finish with you tackling questions independently. This step-by-step guidance ensures you never feel lost or overwhelmed.
