About Gill
Hi! My name's Gill. I'm a writer/illustrator, musician and filmmaker born in New York City. I graduated with honors from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized study, where my thesis on Storytelling and the World Narrative was published in NYU’s research journal. It was at Gallatin that I developed a holistic approach to education, studying across multiple disciplines, from playwriting at Tisch to business courses at Stern, to Gallatin’s own the Art of Play in Therapy. With over ten years experience tutoring private clients in writing, homework help, executive functioning/organizational skills, test prep and more, I've developed a unique framework for each individual’s specific learning style, fostering intellectual curiosity and a deeper understanding of curricula. This is especially effective when helping students craft unique college application essays to showcase their distinct voice, passion, and worldview.
