About Miranda
Hello! I’m a Biology tutor with more than 9 years of experience introducing young students to the fascinating world of life science. I earned my BSc in Ecology and Conservation, which strengthened my love for understanding ecosystems and the organisms within them. I particularly enjoy teaching middle school students because their natural curiosity makes every lesson exciting. They notice everything.
My teaching approach focuses on exploration and observation. We often look closely at everyday examples of plant and animal life, discussing how living things grow, survive, and interact. Even a walk outside can become a science lesson. Simple experiments also play an important role in my classes, such as growing seeds and observing how they sprout and develop.
I also enjoy sharing engaging stories about biodiversity and the amazing adaptations of plants and animals. These stories make complex ideas easier to understand and much more memorable. Over the years, I’ve helped many students develop confidence in asking questions and thinking like young scientists.
My goal is to nurture an early love for the natural world and the excitement of discovery. Science should feel like an adventure. There is so much life all around us waiting to be noticed. Let’s discover it together!

The teaching approach centers on making Biology understandable, meaningful, and engaging for students. Biology is also connected to chemistry, especially in areas related to food chemistry and green chemistry. These topics help explain how chemical processes support living systems and sustainable environments. Science becomes more relevant to everyday life.
Learning is guided in a supportive and structured way. Concepts are broken down into simple explanations supported by examples and visuals. Confidence develops naturally. Over time, students become comfortable discussing evolution, biodiversity, and the larger narrative of life.
