About MARY JOY
I am a Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) student with a strong passion for teaching and helping students achieve their learning goals. Through my academic training and teaching experiences, I have developed effective communication, patience, and instructional skills that enable me to support learners in improving their English reading abilities.
I am committed to providing a positive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment where students can build their confidence and develop their skills at their own pace. I carefully prepare each lesson to meet the individual needs of my students and ensure that learning remains engaging and productive.

As a BTLED student, I use a learner-centered teaching approach that focuses on improving students' English reading, comprehension, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing their reading skills. I use techniques such as guided reading, reading aloud, vocabulary activities, comprehension exercises, and interactive discussions to help students understand texts better.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by reading activities suited to the student's level. During the lesson, I help students identify unfamiliar words, improve pronunciation, and answer comprehension questions. The lesson ends with a brief assessment and feedback to monitor progress and reinforce learning.
