About Prachi

Hi, my name is Prachi. I'm a friendly, patient and high achieving Year 9 Math Extension student with a genuine passion for helping younger students develop confidence and succeed in math.

I consistently achieve grades of 90% and above and have been recognized with Principal's Awards every semester for my academic excellence and dedication to learning. As a current student, I understand that everyone learns differently and that math can sometimes feel challenging. That's why I focus on explaining concepts in a simple, engaging and encouraging way that helps children truly understand what they're learning.

Parents can expect a reliable, well-prepared and supportive tutor who is committed to helping every student reach their full potential. I create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and celebrating their progress. My goal is not only to improve their math skills and school results but also to build the confidence they need to enjoy learning.

I look forward to helping your child build strong math foundations and achieve their very best.

About the lesson

I am a Year 9 Maths Extension student, I have a genuine passion for mathematics and consistently achieve grades of 90% and above. I understand that every child learns differently, so my lessons will be designed to be fun, encouraging and easy to follow.

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence first. I explain concepts step by step using simple language, real-life examples and visual methods so students truly understand the "why" behind the maths, rather than just memorising answers. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently and celebrate their progress along the way.

Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are suitable for primary school students from Years 1–6. Whether your child needs help catching up, keeping up with classwork, preparing for tests or building confidence in maths, I aim to make learning enjoyable and help them develop strong mathematical foundations that will benefit them throughout school.
