I have studied music for a decade and am still taking music as a subject in A levels which includes composing, solo performances and understanding the theory and history in music. I play two instruments which are the piano and violin

I'll start with the basics and see how much the student understands and move forward then, I'll give them some work and test them to see if they understand the lessons. I would also encourage them to ask questions if there's anything that they don't understand. If they face difficulties understanding certain concepts, I can find other ways to help them understand either through diagram or creating a story, etc to make sure they understand everything that is taught
