I have my Masters degreefrom Northeastern University and I have 10 years of teaching in the classroom in all subjects. I love to bring in fun and edcational programs that are interactive. My name is Christina and I am certified to teach grades 1-6 and English 5-9. I have my Masters
Degree from Northeastern University. I have been teaching in the classroom in various grades
and subjects for the last 10 years. While teaching online through Covid, I discovered how it was
so rewarding to teach online with all the technological platforms.
I am a student driven teacher who takes the information from the session to plan my next
lesson. I have taught groups as high as 10 students and one on one and have been able to
produce success in each type of setting. I utilizes online learning programs such as Desmos,
ReadWorks, Nearpod, IXL, and Jamboard and many more. I have produced results delivering
online instruction by creating engaging, standards based, and student centered lessons for
English Language Arts and Math.
I assess students using formative and informal assessments through observations and
participation to cater to the student's skill level. I am able to Incorporate social emotional
learning techniques and tools to make students feel valued and comfortable in an online
setting..
