About Willow

I help psychology students build confidence by connecting course concepts to real-world applications. I am currently finishing a post-baccalaureate certificate in Therapeutic Recreation and applying to Master of Social Work programs, continuing my focus on behavioral science and helping professions.

Along with my academic background, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I applied behavioral psychology principles in hands-on clinical settings. This experience allows me to explain complex topics in a clear and practical way.

I especially enjoy helping students with research papers, literature reviews, and organizing their ideas into strong academic writing. I can assist with breaking down research articles, developing thesis statements, structuring papers, and improving clarity while maintaining an academic voice. My goal is to make challenging material feel approachable and help students feel confident in both their understanding of psychology and their writing skills.

About the lesson

My psychology lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I use real-world examples to help connect psychological theories to practical understanding, making complex concepts easier to grasp and remember.

A typical lesson may include discussion of key concepts, case studies, reviewing course material, or breaking down research articles together. I also incorporate multimedia resources when helpful to support different learning styles.
I place a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking and analytical skills, which are essential for success in psychology courses. I also enjoy helping students work through research papers, organize their ideas, and strengthen their academic writing.

My lessons are designed for college-level psychology students, from introductory courses to more advanced topics, and I adapt each session based on the student’s course requirements and goals.
