About Patrick
I have graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley. My Major was English. I have also spent a lot of time in classrooms assisting students with academic writing and novel studies. I hope to pursue a career in teaching Secondary School. I am currently in the process of applying to different schools for a teaching program in the Fall of 2021.

I like to first ask students how they relate to the subject matter. This way they become more engaged in the material. I find the more engaged the students are, the more efficient and proactive they become. My main priority is getting students to understand what I am teaching them and why it is important. By getting them first engaged in the material, the more willing they are to learn and think for themselves.
I assess each and every one of my students carefully in order to find a right pace for teaching them at. In no way do I rush them or move on if they are having difficulty understanding something. I am one hundred percent committed to student success and will do all I can to get my students to the place they need to be at in their academic lives.
