About Henri
I am currently a rising sophomore student at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Aerospace Engineering in one of the top undergraduate engineering programs in the nation. A resident of New York City, for high school I attended the Bronx High School of Science, a prestigious, test-into high school consistently ranked as one of the best high schools in the nation. My experiences have made me an expert on standardized tests, as I performed highly on the SHSAT as well as getting a 1500 on the SAT. I excelled in math courses throughout high school, receiving a 4 on Calculus BC which has now put me ahead in college by two course levels. I also have extensive experience working as a tutor and student mentor in high school.

I excel at breaking down complex math problems to their simplest and most intuitive possible forms for learners. I teach mainly for grades 10 and below and can help with test prep as well. I love taking a fun and relatable approach to learning with kids to help grow their own passion and show that math can be very easy if explained in simple terms. Generally, I like getting to know kids, identifying their strengths and skill set, and then going over with them any assignments they may be having trouble with. I also love doing test prep for tests like the SAT or ACT.
